How long do I keep cookies?
- Necessary cookies, stored only for the duration of the session (until you close your browser).
- Statistical and functional cookies, stored for up to **12 months**, unless you delete them earlier.
- Marketing cookies, stored for up to **12 months** and deleted automatically or when you withdraw your consent.
- The choice you make in the cookie banner (accept/decline) is also stored for up to **12 months**, after which I will ask you again to decide.
Which regulations do I follow?
To protect your data and privacy, I comply with the following rules and laws:
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679), regulates how I process and store your personal data.
- ePrivacy Directive, regulates how and when I may use cookies and similar technologies.
- Digital Services Act (DSA), requires me to be clear and transparent about the use of data and cookies.
- Digital Markets Act (DMA), sets rules for large digital platforms, which matters if I use their services.
- Local laws and regulations, in the EU/EEA (e.g. in Norway, the Personopplysningsloven applies). If you access my website outside of Europe, I also follow other relevant laws (e.g. CCPA in California, LGPD in Brazil).
How do I store your data?
- I store cookies for a limited time (session or defined period).
- I do not share your data with third parties without your consent.
- I only use statistical data in anonymous form.
Your rights
You always have the right to:
- Withdraw your consent for cookies,
- Request the deletion of your data,
- Request information about which data I store,
- File a complaint with the relevant data protection authority (e.g. Datatilsynet in Norway).
